Terms of use and legal notice

By using Leyline, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.
Legal notice

The service
Leyline lets you create relationship maps, present them, export them as images or videos, and share them by link. The service is free during the beta. A paid Creator plan may be offered later; its terms will be shown before any purchase.
Your account
You need an account only to save maps online and share them by link. Keep access to your email secure: it's your key to the account. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
Your maps belong to you
You keep all rights to what you create. You allow us to store and display your maps only to provide the service (for example, showing a shared map to people who have the link). Images and videos you export are yours to use, including commercially.
Respect others
Don't publish through Leyline content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that reveals private information about real people without their consent. When you map existing works (series, games, books), respect their authors' rights: names and facts are fine, copying artwork or long texts is not.
We may disable a share link or an account that breaks these rules. Report a problem to hello@leylinemaps.com.
Ready-made maps
The gallery maps are provided as examples. They may contain errors or omissions; they're there to be completed. Names of works and characters belong to their respective owners; Leyline is not affiliated with them.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Leyline available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is, without guarantee. Export your important maps from time to time. Within the limits allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect damages or for the loss of data stored only in your browser.
Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, and failing an amicable solution, the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rights you have as a consumer in your country.
